Kickstarting the singing activities of Brewood Singers after Covid 19 and working towards a Come and Sing event for residents of Staffordshire in March 2022. To encourage participation and discovery of singing as a community activity which improves wellbeing and confidence.

Our latest venture is to make a large working Nutcracker puppet for Friends of Hednesford Park. As this is the first time that we have make such an item we needed support from Staffordshire County Council Community Fund for the purchase of the woodworking tools required.

Aston Village Hall is using a Covid Recovery grant to upgrade its website to promote events and take bookings and cashless payments on mobile phones and share on social media. The new website has been inspired by the success of the local community's WhatsApp group, set up during lockdown.
