Applicant eligibility

• This application must be completed by the landowner.
• A Section 50 Licence grants permission for the applicant to place or retain apparatus within the highway and subsequently inspect, maintain, adjust, repair, alter, renew, reposition, or remove that apparatus in accordance with Section 50 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
• Applications submitted by anyone other than the landowner will not be accepted or processed.

Information required

Before starting your application, please ensure you have the following documents and information available:

• A completed Section 50 application for each asset being installed, unless the works relate to a combined connection.
• A plan clearly showing the point of connection.
• A plan clearly showing the location and proposed route of the asset.
